Jack Stone is a third-year forward.

Danny Heath: "Jack has and continues to work hard at his game to improve and to become even better. Jack shows good movement and anticipation to be in good goalscoring positions and his ability to score with a variety of finishes has developed really well. Jack's work and contribution to the team outside of the penalty area is also very good with his ability to effectively protect and stay on the ball high up the pitch. Jack is also a member of the player leadership group."

Jack Stone: "I am a strong and physical target man with a proven goalscoring record. My academy journey so far has had highs and lows with goals scored and assists made but also a couple of injuries. When we step onto the pitch we are going to war together and as a team we do just that! We all fight for each other and for the Southend badge. I am excited to introduce myself to the Southend fans and show exactly what I am capable of this campaign and beyond. I intend to work towards first-team football which is inevitable if I continue putting in the amount of work I have been doing my whole footballing life."
