Harvey Gluckstad is a second-year goalkeeper.

Danny Heath: "Harvey is a player that we watched and monitored closely throughout the 2022/23 season when he was playing for the Southend United Education and Community Trust team. Harvey came in on trial with the youth team in the latter end of that season and played in our last game of the season vs Newport County. Harvey is an excellent shot stopper and also shows excellent agility and athleticism to move around and effectively command the penalty area. He is very comfortable with the ball at his feet and he can play out from the back with speed and quality over short and long distances”.

Harvey Gluckstad: “My journey at Southend United has been very exciting so far, this is my first year as a Southend United academy player and I am very grateful for the opportunity that has been given to me. Before the academy I was playing for the Southend United community team so from playing college football to academy football is a big step but I am ready to learn and develop not only as a player but as a person every week and give my everything to this club”.
