Bio

Debut:

Charlie Brown is a second-year goalkeeper.

Danny Heath: "Charlie is an excellent shot stopper and he demonstrates the ability to make important saves at key moments in games. Charlie also demonstrates good quality on his distribution which is important as we mirror the first team's philosophy of playing out from the back in a variety of different ways."

Charlie: "I have been involved with the youth team for three years, making my debut against Northampton when I was 15 years old just a month after joining Southend from EJA side Canvey Island. My aspiration for this football club, as a youth team player, is to help the club to succeed on and off the pitch. My most memorable moment for the club was playing a full 90 minutes in a first-team pre-season game against Canvey Island. I’m looking forward to playing for this badge and making lots more positive memories."
