Trains

Woking train station is a mile from the ground, roughly a 20-minute walk. It is accessible from London Waterloo and the journey time is about 25 minutes if you’re on a fast train.

Trains from Waterloo run every 5-10 minutes and likewise for the journey back after the game.

To get to the stadium, exit the station on the opposite side of the station to the town (Station Approach/Oriental Road side).

Turn right down Station Approach and at the bottom, turn left onto Claremont Road (the A320). At the end of Claremont Road turn left on Kingfield Road and the ground is over the road on your right.

Driving

Journey time from Southend is between 1h30min and 2 hours. Leave the M25 at Junction 10 and take the A3 towards Guildford. On approaching Guildford turn right onto the A320 towards Woking.

When entering Woking turn right at the roundabout into Wych Hill Lane, towards Old Woking (A247). This road leads into Kingfield Road and the entrance to the ground is on the right.

Parking

There is no parking available for supporters at the stadium and there isn’t much street parking in the vicinity.

Woking Leisure Centre is a few minutes’ walk from the ground but the car park can get busy. Otherwise, there are some car parks in the town centre such as Heathside Crescent and Victoria Way. Heathside Crescent is the club’s designated car park.

Stadium

Laithwaite Community Stadium

  • Opened: 1922
  • Capacity: 6,036 (2,500 seats)
  • Address: Kingfield Road, Woking, Surrey, GU22 9AA

Woking’s ground has a real mixture of stands, with the most modern the Leslie Golden Stand. This is all-seated and can house around 2,000 supporters. Some seats for away fans are available in this stand, but most away supporters will be in the Chris Lane Terrace, on the southeast side of the ground.

Opposite, on the side where the dugouts are, there are two relatively small old-fashioned seated stands, while the ground is completed by the Jewson Stand, a covered terrace that runs the width of the pitch and is traditionally where the most vocal home support is located.

Pubs

Close to the ground, the Kingfield Arms is a few minutes away. There are more options in the town centre including The Herbert Wells, which is a Wetherspoon.
