Olayinka, Egbri and Goodship updates...

Latest team news ahead of Saturday’s game against Mansfield Town.

Mark Molesley confirmed James Olayinka will be out for the weekend and is likely to be missing for a few of weeks, however the estimated length of time he will be missing is unclear at the moment.

There were also updates on Terrell Egbri and Brandon Goodship.

James Olayinka

“We’re still waiting on the definitive from the scan, but he has got ankle ligament damage in there.

“We’re just waiting on the severity on that now and we should have some news on that by the end of play today.

“It’s not a short-term one but clearly we have to wait for the swelling to settle down and a few other bits just to determine how long he’ll be out.”

Terrell Egbri

“Terrell is a late grade one so he’s taking a little bit longer than we first hoped. You have to be careful with Terrell because he’s such an explosive player, he has played a lot minutes this season and he’s a really hard trainer.

“We need to make sure we get that right because we don’t want to risk any long-term damage.

“We’ve had to get on without him for the last few weeks and it’s certainly hopefully more weeks than months.”

Brandon Goodship

“Brandon is building up his fitness now so he was out on the grass today which is good.

“Again, he’s been out for quite a while now so there’s no quick route back. He needs to put in that foundation of work now.”
